Hi! I’m Rocio , and I’m so glad you’re here.

I’m the founder of Sticky Mess Ministry—a place where kids learn about Jesus through creative, hands-on Bible learning activities that really connect with them at their age. I love designing concrete, playful ways for children to explore faith—whether it’s through prayer activities, science experiments, or teaching from nature. As a teacher, I believe children learn best through play, and my passion is helping them want to know Jesus by making faith fun and tangible.

Sticky Mess Ministry also supports teachers by giving them fresh ideas and training to bring Bible lessons alive in their classrooms and ministries. And reaching parents is close to my heart, too—I provide encouragement and practical tools to help families connect faith with everyday life. Jesus calls parents to be the first and most important faith teachers for their children, teaching them to love God with all their heart and soul. My goal is to equip parents to fulfill that calling with joy and confidence.

My faith in Jesus is at the center of all I do. I believe that faith is strongest when it’s lived out in fun, meaningful, and real ways. Through Sticky Mess Ministry, I want to inspire kids, teachers, and families to build faith stories filled with hope, creativity, and the assurance that Jesus walks with them every step of the way.

At the heart of Sticky Mess Ministry is my deep and personal faith in Jesus Christ.

I believe the Bible is God’s true and living Word — a treasure meant to be shared with joy, creativity, and purpose. From the very beginning, God has invited us into His story, and it’s my passion to help children, teachers, and families step into that story in ways that are fun, hands-on, and unforgettable.

I believe that God created each child with wonder and purpose, and that their hearts are capable of knowing, loving, and trusting Him deeply. I also believe He calls parents and teachers to be spiritual guides — not just through words, but through play, storytelling, and everyday moments.

Sticky Mess Ministry was born from this faith — that when we plant God's truth in little hearts, even through glitter, giggles, and glue sticks, those seeds will grow into lifelong faith.

This ministry is not perfect. It might get messy. But in the middle of it all is the grace of Jesus, who turns every moment into a chance to know Him better.

Through Sticky Mess Ministry, I’ve found joy in bringing the message of Jesus to life — not just through lessons and stories, but through relationships and real-life moments. I believe that when we share God’s love in practical, creative ways, we leave a lasting impact on hearts of all ages.

In my community, I live out my faith by:

• Leading interactive Bible story times for children in churches, schools, and local events.
• Supporting and training children’s ministry leaders, helping them feel confident and excited to teach God’s Word.
• Creating resources that equip families and volunteers to talk about Jesus at home, in classrooms, and in everyday life.

I believe in showing up with joy, serving with purpose, and loving with intention. Whether it’s through a Bible Learning Activity, or just sitting with a child and listening — every moment is an opportunity to reflect Jesus.

Sticky Mess is more than a ministry name — it’s how I hope faith sticks in the hearts of those I serve.
